Title: A Perfect Day with the Kids: Walt Disney World's EPCOT
Category: Kids/Family Author: Jean

Where to Eat...

Breakfast

There aren't a lot of great breakfast options around Epcot. Kepe your family's preferences in mind (and your budget!) and pick up some milk, cereal, etc. to eat in your room before heading out for the day. It's a nice quiet way to get started.

Lunch

Definitely check out the San Angel Inn in the Mexican pavilion. The restaurant overlooks one of Epcot's rides, a boat took, and sits underneath another miniature temple and a volcano. Incredibly atmospheric and there's some really innovative Mexican cuisine to be had.

Dinner

For dinner, the best places in Epcot are the retaurants at the Japanese pavilion. If your kids are younger, go to the back and have Teppanyaki- the chefs do all their chopping and cooking right at the table! If they're a bit older, wrangle a table by the picture windows and you'll have the best view in Epcot for the nightly fireworks. The sashimi is spectacular, particularly the tuna.

What to Do...

Morning

Get there early and take on some of the rides that normally have longer lines. Test Track, which lets you drive race cars, and Mission to Space, which takes you on a G-Force space ship ride, are particularly fun and popular.

Afternoon

As the day gets warmer and everyone gets a bit tired, take the time to check out all the cultural pavilions. The Canada pavilion frequently has a Canadin band playing, there's small rides in the Mexican and Norwegian pavilions, and the kids can make masks at the Chinese pavilion.

Evening

Check out the fireworks show that Epcot puts on every night. It's visible from all around the lagoon, set to music and it's amazing!

Late Night

If you still have energy after such a long day, put the kids to bed and have a quiet glass of wine out on your patio. Alternative, if you have a Park Hopper pass, head over to another Park for some better late-night action.
