Road tripping is our bonding activity with friends. We're seven in the group, all girls, which means a road trip with the whole pack is full of laugh trips, adventure and more.
We first went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not Orlando Museum. I know that there are Ripley's museums worldwide and the Ripley's museum Orlando is the most accessible for us. The building is Bavarian-style, they say, and is deliberately disproportioned. We were amazed by the replica of a 1907 Rolls Royce built from not just a million matchsticks. The Self Portrait In Front of Easel is also very interesting. It's a huge portrait created by Cornet Biereng from around 3,000 postcards depicting van Gogh's 115 paintings and drawings. If you want to see more other odd things, drive to 8201 International Drive. From downtown Orlando, take the I-4 W and you'll reach the museum in 15 minutes by car.
Next, we checked out Fun Spot Action Park at 5551 Del Verde Way. I don't believe that the place is for kids only. We did love playing video games inside this two-story arcade. Yes, it's a two-story arcade! It is heaven actually. And the fun never stops inside the arcade. Outdoor rides are also available including bumper cars, go-karts and bumper boats, which we enjoyed. After playing with the high-tech video games, we ate at one of their snack bars. The park is 5 minutes away from Ripley's Museum, taking the International Drive route. First, head north on International Drive then toward FL-482 E/W Sand Lake Rd. Then turn left at Grand National Dr before taking the 1st right on Del Verde Way.
Lastly, we went to SeaWorld Adventure. This theme park is actually one of the first in Orlando and has been operating for more than 30 years now. We saw some great wildlife shows and attractions, plus the laser-fireworks-water display. Aside from these, my friends and I also loved the high-tech thrill rides.
